WIES laveert tussen indiepop en levenslied, slingert langs rock en elektronica en komt telkens weer uit op een sound die hun heel eigen maakt. Het drietal klinkt als een muzikale toverbal: kleurrijk en speels van buiten, met een serieuze en gevoelige kern die je kan raken. Hits als Soms Is Het Te Laat, Meisje en Venus maakten hun naam, maar WIES is meer dan een rijtje singles – het is een gevoel dat je pas snapt als je live erbij bent. In het voorjaar van 2026 komt hun derde album AH! uit; een titel die alles kan betekenen. Twijfel, verrassing, frustratie, opluchting – of gewoon de chaos van het leven zelf. Met nieuwe songs als Drijfzand en Ik Geloof Dat Wij Iets Delen zoekt de band het rafelrandje op, rauwer en eerlijker dan ooit. Dit voorjaar opent WIES een fris hoofdstuk, recht van de studio voor de 2de keer naar het AB podium!
